daniele bartolini

artistic director

daniele is a director, installation artist, playwright and performer born in florence, italy. he is a graduate of the production and management for performing arts program from the university of florence and throughout his career has collaborated with some of the leading italian companies and artists.

​

selected performances and art shows include: Ubu Roi (Award Winner of Best Production at PremioGirula 2006), Progetto PPP (by Letizia Russo and Cristina Pezzoli), Every Time you Stretch Your Arms… (Festival Natura Dei Teatri).

raylene turner

raylene is a theatre creator and multidisciplinary artist residing in toronto. she has been collaborating with DLT since 2016, acting, co-directing, and managing shows.

 including The Stranger (DLT 2017), Off-Limits Zone (Luminato Festival 2016), The Invisible City (SummerWorks 2017), The Curious Voyage (TIFT 2018), and most recently If on a Christmas Night (Villa Charities 2018). Her focus is on redefining the ways in which human beings interact and re-introducing human connection through the mediums of audience specific theatre and other art forms.

danya is a graduate of école philippe gaulier in paris and of the humber theatre performance program. she is the co-creator and performer in death married my daughter and the assholes (theatre smith-gilmour). she has also worked several theatre companies including common boots (formerly theatre columbus), theatre smith-gilmour and bad new days and has appeared in several television shows and short films.

anahita dehbonehie

anahita is an iranian stage designer, production designer and installation artist, currently based in toronto. her practice is founded on the principle that works of art return us to truths more powerfully by their relationship to evocative sensory experiences. she is precisely interested in the creative tension that exists between innovation and creative expression on one side, and tradition and structure on the other, in any medium.
her design work has been featured across canada and internationally, including at the prague quadrennial, the vilnius capital of culture, and the moscow museum of modern art. since making toronto her home, anahita has been recognized with a variety of nominations and awards in design.

rory is a graduate of the humber theatre for the performing arts program and a former member of the kadozuke kollektif, working under tatiana jennings year round for almost four years. during that time he co-created and performed in figaro; his marriage & the fine art of dressmaking, codex nocturno, richard III as well as the nuit blanche art installation and when i look in his eyes, it’s not his eyes that i see. He is also a regular performer with toronto’s theatrelab, performing in two original pieces written and directed by omar hady including smother (2012) and to the last cry (2013). rory is also interested in film and has co-written and produced several micro shorts including life is not all beer and skittles and fred wilson teaches you how: meeting girls

vincent is a two-time jessie award winning and a dora award nominated actor who works in both french and english. he has an honours b.a. with specialization in theatre from the university of ottawa, is a graduate of studio 58, and he has completed the manitoulin conservatory for creation and performance’s summer intensive. he has a kinesthetic and corporeal approach to theatre. his main areas of interest include devised theatre, physical theatre, clown, and work that creatively tackles social issues.

his film & tv credits include la malédiction de jonathan plourde (super écran), girlfriends' guide to divorce (bravo network) and abigaëlle et la séduction prénatale and abigaëlle et le date coaching (tv5/unis).
